October Skies Sew Along by Lori Holt - Month 4 Grandpa's Truck and Maple Leaf

Happy June!  Time to work on the next blocks in our October Skies SAL. This month we will be making five cute trucks and ten leaves!

We will be using the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Book by Lori Holt.  You can find this quilt on page 136 of that book with instructions from Lori of the blocks that are used in this quilt.

First up is the Grandpa's Truck Block found on page 63.  We will be making the 12" block for the trucks.  We will also be making the Maple Leaf Block found on page 90.  We will be making the 6" block for the leaves.  The pictures below will help you with fabric placement.  We worked on one big block and two small blocks a week.
