October Skies Sew Along by Lori Holt - Month 3 Evening Stars and Crows

Happy May!  Time to work on the next blocks in our October Skies SAL. This month we will be making five harvest stars and ten crows!

We will be using the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Book by Lori Holt.  You can find this quilt on page 136 of that book with instructions from Lori of the blocks that are used in this quilt.

First up is the Evening Star Block found on page 45.  We will be making the 12" block for the stars.  We will also be making the Curious Crow Block found on page 38.  We will be making the 6" block for the crows.  The pictures below will help you with fabric placement.  We worked on one big block and two small blocks a week.
