October Skies Sew Along by Lori Holt - Month 2 Autumn Pumpkins and Acorns

Happy April!  Time to work on the next blocks in our October Skies SAL. This month we will be making five cute pumpkins and ten acorns!

We will be using the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Book by Lori Holt.  You can find this quilt on page 136 of that book with instructions from Lori of the blocks that are used in this quilt.

First up is the Autumn Pumpkin Block found on page 10.  We will be making the 12" block for the pumpkins.  We will also be making the Little Acorn Block found on page 83.  We will be making the 6" block for the acorns.  The pictures below will help you with fabric placement.  We worked on one big block and two small blocks a week.
