It's FUN-tober!!
It is TIME!! Fall is here! It is my favorite season! We have made it through a month of school that has felt like a year! And we need to bring on the FUN!
I am thrilled to introduce you to FUN-tober with Happy Little Stitch Shop! We will be crocheting, stitching and sewing our way through October TOGETHER! Even though we are miles apart, that doesn't mean we can't connect through our love of making and have a little fun along the way!
Here's what's happening...
Creating:
We will be having some fun with crochet, stitching, and sewing!
- Autumn Pillow Crochet Along - I will be making an Autumn Diagonal Throw Pillow following the information provided on Lori Holt's video linked HERE. I am planning on making mine a bit bigger - likely a 16" pillow.
- Autumn Love Stitch Along - we are kicking off our Autumn Love Stitch Along with Lori as well! Order your Autumn Love cross stitch pattern HERE.
- Roadside Harvest Sew Along - I will also kick-off a sew along of a perfect autumn quilt featuring some gorgeous autumn fabric! Roadside Harvest features the Cozy Up fabric collection by Corey Yoder. Order your Roadside Harvest quilt kit HERE.
Come on! This quilt is too cute to leave out of FUN-tober!
Gaming:
Honestly, where's the fun if you don't throw in a few games and prizes?!
- A new game will be released each week (and sometimes there might be three versions of one game - for crochet, cross stitch and sewing!).
- The games will be released via Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, newsletter, blog - be sure you are following us EVERYWHERE because you never know where the games and prizes will pop up!
- Games and prizes will be released each week on Monday and you will have through the end of the day (11:59pm CT) Saturday to submit your answers.
- Each correct answer will be entered into a drawing and a winner drawn!
- Winners will be announced on Monday. Then contact me to claim your prize!
Connecting:
The MOST fun is community. Without YOU this isn't going to be any fun at all. So join in, play, have fun, connect with fellow makers and spread the love, positivity, and HAPPY!
