Calico Garden Sew Along with Lori Holt and Happy Little Stitch Shop - Week One!!

  

It is time to plant our happy little gardens together!  Are you ready?!  Let's do this!

  

Our Calico Garden Sew Along is led by Lori Holt through her YouTube Channel and Blog.  It features Lori's newest collection called Calico and it is simply gorgeous!

  

 

Happy Little Stitch Shop will host this Sew Along through our blog and weekly Lives.  Regardless of what pace you are sewing at or where you are at in the sew along, we hope you will join in the fun and sew along with us sharing every step of progress along the way!  

I will be posting my progress here on our Happy Little Blog.  I will also host Calico Sew Along Lives through our YouTube Channel, share progress on Instagram and in our Happy Little Stitchers Facebook page.

  

  

Lori officially kicked off her Calico Garden Sew Along at the end of January and is making progress each week.  She lays out her entire sew along plan in her Bee Prepared post on her blog which you can find HERE.

Let's jump in to some of my progress!  I have been cutting, cutting, cutting since our Calico Prep Live which you can watch HERE.  Finally, I couldn't resist it any longer and had to dive in to those first two blocks!

  

I worked on both of these blocks with you during our Calico Live which you can watch HERE.

   

   

I started with the Blue Coneflower and followed all of Lori's instructions in her Week One YouTube video which you can watch HERE.  

  

  

The first flower went together easy as pie so I rolled right in to the Purple Conflower!  I followed all of Lori's instructions in her Week One blog post which you can read HERE.

  

Before I knew it....TA DAAAA!  Both Coneflowers appliquéd and trimmed!!

  

  

Aren't they beautiful?!  It is so pleasant just looking at those gorgeous colors and lovely flowers!  Happiness on a design board! 😁
